The elite keep getting richer while the poor and disenfranshised who are at the bottom of the social class ladder keep dying for the rich.

Its the way its always been throughout history. I don't forsee any changes coming soon.
Until we have some meaningful candidates run for office that will force change in the electoral college system things will remain the same.
