    Yet Another Ventilation Question

    Hi all,

I have an unused single garage that I will be hiding my growdrobe in. It is about 1m wide x 0.65m deep x 1.8m tall. I am getting a 400w HPS and hopefully a vented hood to keep it cool.

My idea is to have two fans utilized. One to keep the light cool and one to ventilate the plants. The problem is that there isn't a place to run any ducting outside. Do you think I would overheat my garage and my plants if I just circulated the air in the garage? I could open the back door a bit to let fresh air in during the day. I live in South Africa and summer is coming up. I'll probably have to get a small AC and use it during the day. Anyways, thanks for your time.

    Yet Another Ventilation Question

So your grow would be in a cabinet? I would think if you had proper ventilation in and out of your wardrobe, that would be fine just circulating the air in your garage. However, what are the temps in your garage? It would be better if you could duct everything outside, but since that isn't possible, keeping temps semi-cool in your garage would work... Opening the door during the day is even better to get fresh air in.

But yeah, I would definitely check on the AC prices if your temps in the garage are going to get really high (85+)
