We got this thing, $10 (probably about $7 in America) and you get 2000 txts a month. I use it up with usually about a week to spare lol.

I had to have my texting ability disabled because spammers or slammers or whatever the cell phone version of those is were always writing messages that we somehow got billed for. And I've put myself on restriction from the cell phone for a while, which works anyway since, until today, it was lost for almost a week. I somehow went way over my minutes in July and early August and had to pay out the wazoo (nearly $200) for over-limit cell phone minutes. I love to text (there's a big surprise!). Y'all think if I've had texting turned off for nearly a year and I get it turned back on that slammer/spammers will still be hitting me up? I'd like to be able to send little notes to my husband and son again.

I've gotten spammed on both of my phones when I first got them. The trick to reply with "stop" and they're programmed to stop (nobody wants charges pressed against them). Even though texting stop once in a while will cost ya like 10c (if you have no text plan like me), its worth the freedom you have to text. :thumbsup:

Why should you be ashamed? Unless all your texts were insults and slander you have nothing to be ashamed of. I'm glad you're enjoying what you're paying for! If anything sounds to me like you got your moneys worth. I'd give you my number to text but I only get 1.5k a month . I use about 800 of them, I'm afraid of your rapid texting =P

yup same lip, i just call when sum1texts cus theres usually no point of texting them for 30 min over somthing stupid, only exception is when its to my gf shes texts alot so sometimes i dont bother to call heh :S
