Some brilliant choices already, so how about Wes Anderson, Oliver Stone, Danny Boyle and the Coen brothers

Please watch alot more movies made before Tarrentino. It's all been done before. Not saying he isn't a good director, but hes not on the pantheon of the Greatest.

that halloween movie and devils rejects are two awsome movies I agree with both of your choices also, although, rodriguez did do once upon a time in mexico which wasn't great....

Chris Colombus! Home Alone, Gremlins, Mrs Doubtfire... his comical genious is unparalleled to anyone out there

Damn I thought Once Upon A Time In Mexico was a bad ass movie perfect part 3 to a good couple movies. Funny and lots of action. This fukin thread has been on before and now I cant find it,so I guess I have to list again.
RObert Rodriguez, Quintan Tarintino, Martin Scorsesy, And Luc Besson to name a few. I also like alot of Richard Donners films.
