Here is a comparison of a 400w HQI lamp to some that a lot of people here may be familiar with. It's the first 400w HQI I've seen.

In the marine aquarium industry they are preferred over standard MH because they put out a lot more light. In addition they put out enough UV to require UV blocking glass be used with the bulbs. I figure these would be perfect for MJ grows. Any experience? Rating: 5
