    Did Your Representative Stand Up for Patients' Protection?
    See how your representative voted on the Hinchey-Rohrabacher medical marijuana amendment...

    ASA has a tally of how each Representative voted on the bill.

    Only Jim Moran and Bobby Scott voted in favor of the amendment, which would prohibit federal funds from being used for DEA raids on medical marijuana patients and clinics in states where they are legal. We urge you to contact these officials and thank them for standing up for patients' rights! Our politicians have no business nor expertise in deciding who can get what medicine.

    ~~~~~~
    The following Representatives voted against the amendment, meaning that they voted in favor of using federal money to raid state-sanctioned medical marijuana patients and providers:
    Eric Cantor
    Thelma Drake
    Virgil Goode
    Bob Goodlatte
    Randy Forbes
    Frank Wolf
    We urge you to contact them and let them know you're disappointed with their vote! Ask them if they are licensed physicians, and if not, why they believe they can make medical decisions for you.
    ~~~~~~

    The following Representatives failed to vote on the amendment at all:

    Rick Boucher
    Jo Ann Davis

    We urge you to contact these officials and ask them why they didn't vote on the Hinchey-Rohrabacher amendment. In addition, ask them how they would have voted.

    ~~~~~~
    Without your letters of disappointment or praise, your elected officials have no idea what you want. They are YOUR employees! Keep contacting them and telling them how to do their job to your satisfaction!
    Thank you Jim Moran and Bobby Scott.
