Got pulled over right outside the old bailey court in London and got a joint and an 1/8 confiscated, but still had an 1/8 in the glove box.

And when i got arrested i had a 1/4 on my table and the police didnt care. They saw it - he picked it up, but they said it wasnt what they were here for.
