Fruity Smelling Weed

So I know it's impossible to ID a strain by looks or smell alone, but I'm curious about some weed I just picked up. I've never had any that really smells fruity before, usually it's got more of a pine scent. I wanted to know if the fruity smell suggests something about the sativa/indica ratio? Any growers or anyone out there who knows?

i had some pine-smelling stuff last week, it was pretty good but nothing amazing

Could have been cured with a fruit peel, or flavored prior to clipping. Or it could be a tropical fruity strain.

i think it may be kush. i had some once that smelled like lemon/lime/pine thats the best way to describe it.

There are quite a number of strains that has distinctive fruity smells. A fruity smell wouldnt really give you an indication on it being sativa or indica. Smoke it and use your own judgement on the high you get.

there is some stuff called juicy fruit isnt there but idk i never have tried it

I think it's mostly indica. I get a pretty good body high from it, but a little bit of a head high too. I would guess like 70:30 indica:sativa. I don't think I've tried many sativa heavy strains though. I can't wait to move out so I can grow =P

I've never run across a fruity smell, but once my friend grabbed 4 grams which smelled like skittles.

Maybe its storage container before it got to you had fruits in it?
