I've gone through periods in my life like that too. I let shit build up to the point where a small thing would put me in a rage. There's a hole in my bedroom wall where I put my fist through the plaster because I had gotten home at eleven from a 16 hour work day to find my then-boyfriend had gone to bed without taking out the trash, the ONE request I had made that day of his unemployed ass.

I've learned to control it since, but I'm told that it's equally frightening to see me angry now- I just get SILENT.

One of the most important changes I've seen in myself since becoming a habitual smoker is an ability to let things go for the moment, until I'm calmed down enough to discuss them rationally. It's a good thing. My temper has gotten me arrested, and I don't need that ever again.

Naw, I kinda like it there... the interior decorating equivalent of hanging a dead crow over your corn field to keep the other crows from getting too bold.

I am actually really good at drywall and plaster repair though. Taping and mudding is one of my superhero skillz.
