I think that's a big part of the problem- whoever sold you the Pure Blend has cheap pH test kits- ( $7-10 US). Check your pH's- search function will get you to protocol.
rhizome Reviewed by rhizome on . over-fertilizing I have two outdoor plants that i over-fertilized, one is much worse than the other. I am using organic Botanicare pure blend (1.5-4-5.) The guy at the grow shop told me not to worry about over fertilizing and to put 45 ml per gallon of water. Well anyway, this didn't seem to work in my favor. One of my plants has slightly burned tips, and some of the leaves were left unharmed. My other plants has burning on all of the leaves.
