my bet this year is houston rockets. they got a nice line up and a pretty young(except for dikembe mutombo lol) and very tallented bench players.

the Rockets against the celtics would be a nice finals to have. but probably wouldnt happen.
The rockets are definitely interesting. But I don't see it happening because I see there have some risks and none are about Artest. The first question is McGrady's durability. Without him, the Rockets are done championship wise. Sure they have great depth, but not enough to offset the loss of. The 2nd is Yao. In the regular season it's all dandy, but come playoffs, both of them must be healthy in order to eventually compete with NO and Lakers. Even then, NO and Lakers are teams they'll have to battle out with.

I see Boston because while they are a year older, they'll turn it up playoff time and go through a east which is still mired with mediocrity. Boston challengers are Detroit, Philadelphia, Orlando and Cleveland. Houston has to battle it up with Utah, Lakers, NO, Spurs. The latter is much tougher and more proven teams.
