Open Attached PDF to See System

    For complete environmental control of:

    • Nutrients
    • Light Spectrum
    • Light to Plant Distance
    • CO2
    • pH
    • Humidity
    • Nutrient PPM
    • Temperature
    • Fresh Air Circulation
    • Odor
    • Nuisance Growth

It would be programmed to change settings for different stages of the growth cycle.

Not to scale. Instruments would be wired into a central panel, if I'm feeling up to it even routed into a digital signal processor and onto my web server so I can monitor the environmental status of the system parts and reservoir levels using a web-based control panel.

    See PDF Instructions Below!

    Hello!

I've done a lot more work on the system design. Attached is a more comprehensive look at the system including:

    • Exterior Mockup
    • To-Scale Assembly Schematic
    • Primary Parts Manifest
    • Concept Schematic (Original)

I was wondering if anyone had any additional ideas, criticisms (besides the obvious, that it's complicated and expensive), or most important if you see a part that I sourced which is overpriced.

One thing not included in the to-scale schematic (because it obstructs the view) is a transparent dark-green plastic screen which will cover the front of the upper half. This is so that I can open the doors to service the apparatus or inspect plants and roots without disturbing the light cycle: the green film will convert incoming light to green light, which theoretically the plants' chlorophyll wouldn't be able to absorb or react to.

My original, lone schematic didn't get any feedback and I've put a lot of thought into this so I was disappointed. I hope this more complete version will inspire some thoughts. Thank you in advance if it does!

Final construction will include a smaller main-water reservoir than in the schematic to make additional vertical-room for the plants.

    To See The System:

Sorry for the rigamarole - the system PDF is 4.8 MB so it's the only way I could get it online with the board's filesize limits.

I forgot to mention, this system (via the level controllers and analog-digital converter) will automatically send me an email if the pH up, pH down, water reservoir, or nutrient-concentrate reservoir reaches a critical low.

Looks I do not down low sites that require a program to run.
I have had to many problems with virus's 's
There only 3 downloads so far, and I do not have a extra test computer to down load a unknown thing. Will wait there a few programs out there but none are tested. The one I run has been tested for over long time and has a good histroy.
The problem with growing its gota work , its gota be dependable. You can not go to the programer and screem It killed my pot growing.
I have some systems growing and one failure in over 60,000 iderations
    x syatem running, x number of on/off . x controls, x sequences, x years .

You don't have to download a program to see the file, you just have to click this series of links, the only file you download is a PDF which can't contain executable code. I wish I had a simple way to just post the PDF but it's over the file size limits for the board. This sucks because I put a lot of work into designing the system so I could get feedback and now I have no way to show it to anyone.

Nice plan and great idea, you'll need to develop a software that goes with this thing and after that you could sell this thing all over the world and make a lot of stoners happy... I'll be on of the buyers, if the price is somewhat reasonable. We need people like you with good ideas !

Thanks man. I'm sure it would produce like 500%-to-normal growth rates. And it has a lock so people couldn't stumble onto it without permission. In the current design, it would email or SMS notifications to you for low-level notices. My main trade is actually software/web development so that part isn't a big deal for me.
