    Iron Deficinecy. PH prob?

    Hi,

I seem to have a problem with yellowing shoots (new growth mainly) and have found out that this is probably an iron defiiency. To correct this would I just lower the PH of the nutrient mix (Canna Terra Flores) or would I have to try and lower the PH of the planting medium also? (one part Compost, two parts perlite and two parts vermiculite). Any suggestions would be very welcome.
    Thank you.
