Depression-Free, Naturally
Amazon.com: Depression-Free, Naturally: 7 Weeks to Eliminating Anxiety, Despair, Fatigue, and Anger from Your Life: Books: Joan Mathews Larson
any1 ever read this book or at least given it a look? it runs through natural ways to fight things like depression, anxiety, anger, fatigue, etc etc
its really interesting actually
one method it gives is that it lays out all these nutrient schedules, where it lists all these vitamins and amino acids to take throuhgout the day that help with emotional illnesses like depression and anxiety...all completely natural, thats the best part....i needed this because my body just didnt agree with the valium and xanax so frequently
im just interested to hear any other opinions if any1 has checked this book out
also, if you suffer from anything like depression, anxiety, despair, anger or fatigue in your life and you cant figure it out or going to the doctor hasnt provided any solutions then i highly recommend this read...its amazing how things like eating right and getting certain vitamins, minerals, and aminos in the correct amounts and combinations can make a world of differenceStemis516 Reviewed by Stemis516 on . Yeah, my doctor was going to prescribe me to Valium daily to help with anxiety AND depression, but I told him that I was already taking Ativan and I hate taking prescription drugs so he just told me to take St. John's Wort before I go to bed and 5-HTP when I wake up.
They work great, I think, but at the same time I have to wonder if its not placebo or not.

Just because you keep your brain healthy doesn't mean you won't be depressed.

St. Johns wort worked great for me and my depression but you do have to be careful because it is known to interact with several prescription drugs. I took the st johns wort and magnisium and it was a miracle combination for me. Kava Kava root is supposed to be another good one for depression and anxiety but it has been said that it can have some side effects which may include liver toxicity and you should consult with your doctor before starting either. And with all supplements buy from a trust company because they are not regulated like most think.

Just because you keep your brain healthy doesn't mean you won't be depressed.
So I believe it is more about perception, if one has a better physical brain then ones perception of certain events may be different, one may perceive it in a more positive sense as 'moving on' or 'being stronger' Iā??m sure you've all heard these phrases; "what doesnā??t kill me makes me stronger". So I believe that depression can have external causes yet treatment lies within the health of the brain.
If your body is generally healthy, if you exercise regularly and eat healthy you will generally see a reduction in fatigue and depression, science is not the ruling elite in the quest of the battle of depression and psychological trauma, 10 - 30 years is not a lot of research and backing behind the drugs they pump in to you.
I hear that tomatoes have over 10,000 antioxidants yet scientists know of a mere 100 of them lol.
Hope this helps.
