What do you do for a living and how much do you earn?

ok ok first off, i have worked ALL kinds of jobs. office, every fast food, i did trail work for a while, did fire fighting for 2 years....i should have my shit more together by now but for a long time i just wanted to eat fentnyl patches/real lsd. for the longest time i tried to buy into the pipe dream of being a real life hustler, but i never made it. im in a lot of trouble and i moved to chico. things are a little different out here in cali baby =) oh and for the dude that said 73k, it aint much but its fufilling...WTF HOMEBOY?!? if i was pulling in that kind of money i would be doubleing or trippling my profits. to the dude that is into fitness, right on BRO! im getting back into shape, powerlifting. thats my favorite things, smoking working out and bonnin down like Dirk D...

so i work @ mcdonalds in chico. i see myself get older everyday. im 22, i know im not a kid anymore, but things are so much fun here. i just want to play. dont get me wrong im a real hard worker i think i am also a bit of a dreamer trying to live the california fantasy like everyone else. IJUSTBURN u are right on. and everyone that says hes NOT, or its not all about money...well i disagree man money is everything to me. it will bring me the only things i care about:fine college girls, smokin big, new clothes, supplements, etc. its funny i see some people that make bank and u cant even tell. money looks really good on me hehe. on yeah and ive had a couple of sugar mamas (older) but in the end it didnt work out. do you have any idea how hard it is to fuck someone u are not only NOT attracted 2 but that really turns u off? man youve gotta keep commin up with excuses why u cant stay hard "its norcos, i mean i have poor circulation, but its not you." all u can think to urself is "uh bitch youd better trust and BELIEVE it is you!!! lol woah guess im rambling again

I'm currently in the process of studying to be a mechanical engineer. At this point in time I'm interning for a company at a little over $18/hour.

I feel like marijuana has set me back a little bit, just because it makes me lazy as hell, but I don't regret doing it at all. Getting high is one of my favorite hobbies.

Hmmm....some of the happiest times in my life were when I had the least money. If I had a choice, of course I would rather have than have not...but, and this may come as a shock to some, the more money you have...the more disconnected you are to people and the crazier you get. There comes a point where you start to question if people are really your friends or if they're just there hoping for a handout no matter who they are. Find your passion and make it work for you. Yes, money makes things easier, but at the end of the day, all the things don't matter if you've killed your spirit to get them...

Out of curiosity, what did you have your degree in before going to medical school?

I got my BA with a triple major of English, pre-med, and journalism. Then I got an MA in humanities, with a concentration in literature. That was almost a continuation of my undergrad work because I was in a five-year program that graduated people who completed it with both a BA and an MA at the end of that time. This was at UT. Then I came north to get married and to go to SMU and study law. My husband said I couldn't complete a law degree, and I said "watch me." I now know he meant that I wasn't cut out for law. Which was accurate. I hate bullies and the fact that our legal system incents and encourages plaintiff's actions. So I passed the bar and went to work first as a teacher, then as a news reporter. Then I found my way to the corporate job where I grew into the gig as an exec speechwriter. That job allowed me to work from home and raise my own son, which we felt was important. Stayed at that company till "junior" was up and out of the nest in college. Medical school had always been my true ambition since childhood. I wish I'd been smart enough to do it earlier instead of in mid-life. I'm too tired now--and no longer smart enough!

Well, right now I'm working at a resturant, making 8.00$ an hour, plus tips [30$ per shift]. That's really just a job to tide me over untill college, though. I'm going to Harvard next year, so I'm sure I'll just have another job like the one I have currently while I'm in Boston, but hey, who cares? I'm still not quite sure what I want to do out of college, but I'm thinking I might become an investor, or maybe start some kind of company. We'll see.

Being a stoner doesn't mean you can't go to a good school or be financially successful. Hell, my dad was a stoned Rhoads Scholar.

I wont say how much i earn, but enough for me to be able to spend roughly £50 a day on my weed.

I was teaching. I think $33,200 was my last. I liked summers off. But now my back is too fucked-up and it's a degenerative thing (meaning it's gonna get worse). I live on my military retirement and SS insurance right now.

I just quit my construction job at which is was making 70k+ a year with no experience to go back to school. Getting my business degree and then ill go from there.
