    My First Grow - Opinions

Well, I'm going to get a plant pretty soon, and I'm planning the arrival already because I'm excited.

Well here's the thing, I'm a first time grower AND I have to keep this whole operation from my dad, but not my mom (she's getting me the plant)... So I have to figure something out for the smell, which will be easy I think, seeing as how I'm always spraying de-oderizers and lighting incense...

    Okay enough rambling now...

There is an attached picture of my idea (in a closet)

Do you think it would work?
Also, on the shelf, do you think it would be safe to put a ionizer up there to make sure there's no smell?
And do you think it would be safe to light an incense in there every one and a while to really keep the smell out?

    Thanks for reading.

Also, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Marina, I hope to be posting a lot on here very soon!

You will want a light on top too.

I would lay off on the incense stick and just burn them in the room outside. An ionizer would be a great idea. I recommend this http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs...on-filter.html

    Good Luck

Move your fans to the top and make some holes for intakes.

Get permission from both of your parents before you grow in their home.

...or go rent your own place. Putting your father at risk is a really unconscionable thing to do to the guy that is supporting your butt.

Run to walmart and grab teh 26 watt CFL's for your veg and grab teh 42 watt CFL's that

emit a yellowish light and better for flowering. Also Grab some light fixtures keep 1 on each

side like in your picture, but also put one up top. Then grab yourself some foil tape,

line the room in foil tape for reflection. Also for odour controland growing check these and choose.

Thanks for the tips guys... If my dad finds the plant my mom said she'll say its hers... He knows she smokes weed, the worst that would happen is he'll discard it or something.
