Whats happening? I'm new to the area, and know a ton of people, just not the right people...

So far, Sarasota is kind of boring for me, I'm from Philly, and here it's nice to out to dinner... And I guess there is the Gator club, <yawn>... Any suggestions for some R&R in this place?
