    sand fertilizer

i was thinking and came up with a idea
    takes
    10litres flowering nute solution
5kg of sand(brought is best but free sand from the beach will do fine)
simply put products in a bucket and mix well
then allow it to dry should take about 2weeks depending on conditions
when dry simply sprinkle around the drip line of your plants and water
or you could mix it with your soil

    sand fertilizer

You can already get fertilizer in a solid form, like pellets, i think you do the same with them.

Beach sand? Wow. And here I thought salt was bad for that whole osmosis thing. :lol5:

Just two quick questions: What is the benefit of this process and, won't sand wreak havoc with my hydro set-up?

    brought sand is best
sand sinks throughout soil better than pellets
    and will help drainage
    not recommended for hydro
    only soil growers
its a really effective way of feeding your plants
u could use veg nutes or flowering nutes dont mix them though
    peace

    sand fertilizer

You're assuming that the fertilizer binds to the sand, rather than being washed off at the first rainfall.
Fertilizer is very soluble and even as a top-dressing does not require a solid matrix to carry it into the soil.
Most sand is quartz and feldspar, which is pretty inert.
This is just overcomplicating the simple process of feeding your plants.

i agree with stinky, also i always hear that sand beach is bad for the plants because they have to much salt in it.
