Hey everyone iv bein smokin strong for the last 6 years and i still dont understand how 420 is such a big day and a big number in the stoner world i celebrate 420 every year but i still dont understand the signifigance of the sumber 420...anyone know?

well there was this group of kids in san francisco, and during school when they saw each other they would say 420 after school, which was there code word for smoking and then they met up with jerry garcia and that group and thats where it got spread out into the world.

There are so many iterations of 420 its rediculous. Ive heard some like it is the police radio lingo for marijuana. But I dont think thats true either.

Story I heard was similar to what CB said but a little different.

A group of kids would all smoke pot after school at 4:20pm by a statue at/near their school and eventually it caught on to the mainstream public, as to how it applies to the actual date (April 20th) your guess is as good as mine.

im pretty sure all the stories about kids meeting at 4:20 was made up after the real thing

im pretty sure 4-20 is a cop call for marijuna whether it be possession use under the influence etc.. but ive always known 420 as a cop call and always thought thats where it originated from

420 is alot of things good and bad, example it is planting day for out doors, it is hitlers birthday, it is a part in the bible which says some stuff about these things are here to use, I have herd in some places it was a cop call for marijuan some way or another. Its is stoner code for light it if you got it basical and it has become a hoiday to celebrate twice a day or if you like me its always 420 somewhere, like right now in my bathroom its always 420 hahaha
