Would it be possible to soak my pipe in hot water? Would this loosen up...

Would this loosen up the resin? Please help, I'm scraping right now, but my results are minimal. I would appreciate another technique or tip to get it out, (Not boiling though, can't right now) maybe just something to loosen it up.

    Here's what I do...

First I take a couple resin tokes (if you cant get a resin hit, chances are it aint worth scraping). This will also heat the resin up, making it easier to scrape. Then I use this little penknife I have to scrape out the bowl part (this is where the best resin comes from). Then I soak my pipe in rubbing alcohol and use pipe cleaners (those fuzzy wires you made crafts with as a kid) to clean out all the resin from the inside of my piece... I do this whenever it starts clogging, and I scrape the bowl out once a week or so (depending on need), if I don't smoke the resin I ball it up and wrap it in tin foil... Got a nice size rsin ball in a joint vial chill'n for a rainy day.

Yeah, this way wastes a lot of resin, but the way I see it is that resin isn't the best smoke anyhow, and I still get decent balls scraped out of the bowl anyways, typically...
I see a red door and I want it painted black / No colors anymore I want them to turn black / I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes / I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

Thanks for the info buck, but when I smoke the ball out of my pipe should I line my bowl with tinfoil? I hardly smoke res. but my friends do quite a bit adn I've seen them line with tinfoil. What would you suggest?

If your just smoking straight resin I'd use a screen, but I like to but a little bit of resin on top of a bowl of shwag. Really gets ya there...

Damn I never smoke resin. Too much work to scrape for so little smoke. Try using a vaporiser or a more efficient way to smoke. Hotter flame or gold plated bowls burn more bud.
