Yes, Simple Green is good stuff! Typically used to clean engine bays and such. Very strong cleaner - I would use caution on painted pieces with Simple Green.

well i use this 420 cleaner....and everyone is now thinking....eww that stincks like shit and is just mediocre....well guess what motherfuckers,.,...i got this new kind they came out with....its 420 natural cleaner.....it doesnt smell like nall polish remover and shit anymore.....its actually a clean smell and it doesnt stay on your hands and it works better than the regular 420 cleaner. check it out. peace

I agree that it's not worth it, though. Just boil your pipe in some water + oil, that will clean it nicely.

now now my dear hearts , gather around and pay attench.
firstly,walk up to one's chemist and ask the kind fellow to allow you to pur-chase a small (yet perfectly formed) bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol B.P.
this bijouesque transaction should in all honesty only cost £5 british or $less?
for a 500ml amount.
then make haste to your chosen abode
as you must always do with all hazard symbol 'F'
( do not think to smoke, as with all alcohol it is high of flam to R11 )
do not think to store above25.1 oC
always think to keep the container in a well ventilated place.
in other words .........
splosh half into an old pickle jar or summat.
then dismantle your trusty brier- use plyers if needed.
drop the bits in the jar
(chuck the old screen away -you tight get!!!!)
leave over night for a good-ish clean
leave a couple of days for a bad-ish clean (!)
shake the jar when ever you get the feeling.
you'll see the stuff coming off by the dark brown of the alcohol.
take bits out of jar some how ( i use a fork)
wash in washing up liquid( pour a bit on each piece -in the sink)
dry with loo roll and ear buds( check out the missus's shit-they all got'em)
stick it back together,add a new screen and Bob's your father's brother!!!
then pop your second best pipe in the same jar an bang the lid on tight
an it's there for 'ron

tekno where did you buy Isopropyl Alcohol B.P. as I have been told how good it is although I have not been able to purchase any from any retail outlets
I use WD40 that will remove any tar or oil residue,,,and can be rinsed with soap and water
