Hardee's commercial
I saw that new Hardee's commercial about flat buns with those students ogling the teacher. I just thought it was stupid. But, me as well as most other people, are becoming so jaded we don't even see the overt depravity of it. They objectify women not to mention the flaunting of disrespect of an authority figure in schoolss, and a bunch of other crap I could come up with. Is this what we want acceptable behavior in schools? I think that commercial goes way over the line. But what most concerns me is, I didn't even give it a second thought when I first saw it. Are we becoming so jaded that something like this blatant manipulation and such stupid crap doesn't bother us? I must confess it didn't really bug me until others started complaining about it. Now, thinking about it, especially being a certified teacher, it's just so outrageous. I really don't like to bitch but this is just weird.
