While money does hold a fair amount of sway, people's attitudes are far more powerful. Since pot is the antithesis of the american ideal, it has a powerful stigma attached to it. It doesn't promote industriousness, it promotes introspection and causes people to question the purpose of the status quo. And the Mexican's seemed to like it so of course it can't be good because all they do is come over here and keep lazy americans on their toes by working so damn hard. But wait, I thought weed didn't promote industriousness? hmmmm
