Went to add nutrients?

When should I start my plant on nutrients and what ratio should I use? I am using GH 3 part nutes just growing some bagseed... My plant has 3 sets of 1/2 inch leaves and 2 more tiny sets growing. I am using a DWC with a tetra whisper 100 pump with 2 bubblewands.

Just use the base(1-1-1) at half strenght until they start really showing some growth(2-3 weeks old).

1-1-1 ok so how much is 1 in how much water 1ml per liter? 1 tsp per gallon?

In general, use no nutes the first 2 or 3 weeks, then 1/4 strength, then 1/2, then full, changing weekly or so, then every month or so thereafter.

They mean a 1-1-1 ratio between your G,M and B bottles relative to each other. The strength/concentration depends on how much you actually add in "parts".

Read the recipe since the "part sizes" are usually different. Some common ones are:
1 part = 8ml/gal
1 part = 1tsp/gal (5ml/gal)
1 part = 10ml/gal

Soooo...assuming 1 part = 8ml, your "half-strength" of 1-1-1 would be:
GROW = 1 part * 8ml * 0.5 = 4ml Grow per gal
MICRO = 1 part * 8ml * 0.5 = 4ml Micro per gal
BLOOM = 1 part * 8ml * 0.5 = 4ml Bloom per gal

Say you wanted "half strength" 0-1-2:
GROW = 0 parts * 8ml * .5 = 0ml Grow per gal
MICRO = 1 part * 8ml * .5 = 4ml Micro per gal
BLOOM = 2 part * 8ml * .5 = 8ml Bloom per gal

Yeah, I got that part, my question was more what strength to use.

i must be lucky. i used a spray bottle with really small amount of nuts untill i could put them in the hydro medium with little more nuts in water and they exploded in growth
