    Color'n Cannabis

Ok I have looked everywhere on many many sites and have not seen anything about the colors of cannabis. Is there a way to make cannabis turn the colors you want them to be?
I had a friend a while back grow some in his closet and it was a weak set up.
He almost did nothing to them, no nutes no special care.
He has about 4 to 5 inches of soil in a fish tank 2 plants and he also has like 2 maybe 3 CFL'S and one blacklite stick. The light were just sitting on top of the tank.Mind you these were normal commercial seeds, anyway they grew like a pitch fork (2 tall buds).
he did not do much but water them and blow smoke on them lol we spent alot of time sitting in there though.
But when it was all said and done with when we shook the plants back and forth they made the closet and most of the room smell like some dog chit, but it smelled really good.Don't ask me to make sense of that!
They grew big about 3 inch around and about 9 in tall.
I never got to smoke any I was out of state for a while when they got done but he says they were some PyYaw, but the point im trying to get to is they were very very PURPLE
almost 99% of the bud was PURPLE!!!!! HOW?

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

Purple (or other) color is a heritable trait of cannabis.
A plant's maximum intensity of purple is genetically set.
You can ENCOURAGE a plant to become as purple as its genes allow by dropping the temperature into the low 60s close to harvest. The green chlorophyll breaks down, exposing the other pigments produced byt the plant.
There is also a product called PurpleMAxx that is intended to intensify the color of your herb. It is NOT a dye; you cannot simply add purple food coloring to your plant to make it go colors.
If a plant is genetically incapable of producing any other color other than green, you can't do a thing about it.

I don't have any IM programs at all in my computer and don't plan on adding any. But I'll poke around and see if I can find the picture you're talking about (a link would be nice?).
