This situation happened to me but i think it was even worse for me because the girl broke up with my friend for me but we kept it as friends with benifits for awhile but then started going out....he was pretty pissed at the time and we didnt chill for awhile after that the summer was awkward but now were back blazing together. so he'll probably be pissed but he'll come around so don't worry to much about it
