Hi romdog11

I read a similar thread on this subject recently but can't seem to find it (damn that short term memory loss), however if I remember correctly, it is to do with two embryos growing in the same seed shell and fusing together. The prognosis isn't great for both to survive though, and I think some of the more experienced growers recommend 'nipping' the weaker looking one.

I'll try and find a link to the thread if nobody else chips in with wiser words.

Two Sprouts from one seed This is the first time ive encountered this but it loooks as though 2 sprouts with two seperate stems are coming out of the same root. has anyone ever had this happen before? does anyone know if one might be female and one male or will they both be the same sex? im sure i only planted one seed in the pot but puzzled why it looks as though an entirely new seedling is coming out lower from the main one near the exact same root base.
