Another casualty
Hi Poor,
It's a smallish (around 50 employees) technical outfit that thinks it's IBM or something. No defense work, no dangerous or high accountability jobs for the 2 guys; they were machine operators. Above mid-management level guys must've had some pretty bad childhoods or something. The type who volunteered for snitch duty in grade school, I think. I've long suspected that I and some of my peers have a lot more on the ball than the people who run the company, and the dumb bastards keep proving it. Sorry if this sounds like a diatribe, I'm a bit pissed.

Brave upper level guys no doubt congradulating each other for rooting out another depraved anti-social scoundrel. He was a regular guy, did his job OK, satisfactory in every way but the one thing. Thinking of taking up a collection, not for the guy who was fired, but to buy the company and put management to work cleaning the toilets for a while, before letting them go due to their not being "a good fit" within Rating: 5Is it...Tomorrow....Or just the end of time?
