But I think your mother might go easier (based on personal experience) If you were to just admit tat you smoke. i remember the first time my folks found out that i smoked. They smelled it and asked if I had been smoking. I just came clean then and there, and they went less harsh on me, because I was being honest and not trying to get around them. I bet if you were to do the same thing, you'd probably get more leeway. Lyingand sneakines are (wrongfully) associated with potheads. By being honest, you'd be showing them that the plant isn't making you any worse of a person.
