lil rhyme i wrote on my way home today

It was a really long day, and I really wanted to get home and smoke, i gotta take two busses to get home so it takes a while. I just started writing this rhyme in my head about what i saw on the way home...

night classes done, gotta catch a ride home
finish the days last cig, and crank up the headphones
check the time on the cell, bus should be here soon
man i cant wait to smoke a fat one in my room
catch the 6 in to uptown, where the shit goes down
time to kill before the transfer, so i take a walk around
head down to lake street to the cd shop
need some new tunes, wanna see what they got
chicks in the miniskirts hanging in front of the pub
guys trying to hook up, and go with them into the club
yuppie big shot's walking tall like he's a star
20 ft down some bum's in the curb kissin the tar
sorry lookin drunk stumbling looking for his car
wanted to ask "do you even know where the fuck you are?
aside from not quite home, and not at the bar?
it's an akward sight that kinda makes me sick
the lost cause bums and the yuppie pricks
on the same damn street, an unusual mix
one's fixin for a fuck, other's fuckin for a fix
I've seen too much, now i just wanna get home
too many backwards sights, too many thoughts in my dome
carryin' this backpack all day, feels like im hauling boulders
god damn i cant wait to get this fuckin weight off my shoudlers
hop on the 12, finally headed back to my hood
been a long day, and i dont feel so good
finally step in my home, mad dash to the stash
need to pack one up, need to unwind and crash
take a deep breath, and let go to the head
thank god for the herb, or my stress would have me dead
