The clone starts its life the same age as the mother it was cut from. You are going to have to assume that the mother was at least a fairly mature plant, otherwise there would be nothing to cut for clones. I have mothers that are one year old. The clones from those mothers are then one year old (maturity wise) when they start life.

Typically, a clone can be switched to 12/12 as soon as it is rooted well enough. Some people go straight from clone to flower - no more veg whatsoever.

So, with clones, it is the size of the plant and the health of the plant that determine when you will switch to 12/12, not the age of the plant.

How you reconcile this with your OCD ...that's a whole other can of worms. I'll make up a birthdate for you if it'll make you feel any better.
