    UFO?

I was just laying in bed, and I saw a very bright reddish light on the horizon- I thought it was Mars, considering it's very close to Earth right now, but then I remembered Mars doesn't rise at 3am.

I go outside to look for it, and it's gone. I talk with my sister on the front porch who saw it as well, and she said it vanished. I go inside, and get my binoculars, and search where it was. The light appears again, and I look through the binoculars. It doesn't have the red and green lights on any wings that I can see, and it gets brighter and brighter. It goes away. I see it a few minutes later about 20 degrees higher. It goes away. Then, out of nowhere, an unusually large meteor burns out in the sky about 40 degrees...

My sister and her boyfriend all saw the same thing... Any ideas what it could have been?

    UFO?

During the lunar eclipse, I kept seeing this strange 'star' that seemed to be multicolored. It was constantly changing color, like flickering. I only had binoculars, so I couldn't gather much detail. It was strange, though.

I get a paranormal news email each month, and it sounds like the same thing they were seeing in Australia last month where a lot of people reported seeing a bright red light that seemed to float slowly over the sky before abruptly disappearing. There was also a similar report in Nova Scotia according to HBCC's UFO research group.

What it really is, is a UFO by it's definition, an unidentified flying object. As for aliens, I'd like to think so, but most people deny their existence so I digress.

I don't deny aliens, but I don't like to say something unless I was absolutely sure. I wasn't high. Nor were my sister and her guy...

It was an orange-reddish kind of light, MCUH bigger than even a close airplane, and like I said, it didn't have the red and green wing lights standard to aircraft. I dunno.
