lol...i can't wait till our son is older...i'mma wait till he effs up really bad...while his friends are over or what not...then tell my fave baby story of him so far...
he was a few months old, and we had him on our bed on a changing pad. i take his diaper off, and before i could get a new one on, he began peeing. it arced about a foot above his head, getting all over the bed. then when the piss-stream slowed down, it got shorter, and he ended up peeing all over his face...he was crying the whole time...it was funny as hell. gross but funny

Please pardon the thread-topic divergence, others than Snookums!
Baby boys are good at that! This'll get me another "shut up, Mama," but that same scenario must have happened at our house about five times before I finally got smart enough to use the new diaper as a shield. The men in this household can project fluid very ably. This is also why I pay someone to clean their bathrooms.
Did I tell you I'm going to be an aunt in six more weeks when my younger sister has her little boy? After 21 years, there's going to be another baby in the family. Our son won't be the family's only grandchild any more. This is a good thing. I almost can't wait to be an aunt.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

yeah, i hadn't perfected the diaper-shield technique at that point...hell, one time at my mother in laws, slip was changing a diaper, and the baby decided to pee again after slip was already fastening the new one. so he got a fresh one, and the baby kept peeing as soon as the new one was on him...happened a few times LOL.
newest, funniest thing our son does, is he'll do something, and startle himself, or drop something, or get scolded, and he'll say "oh chit"

I'm going to be Aunty Em!
They haven't got a name picked out yet. They keep going back and forth between Michael and two other names. Their last name begins with a B, so right now they're referring to him in utero as "Bit." That may stick as his nickname. Only problem is I have a tendency to cutsie that up and refer to him as Bitty. Even Witty Bitty. Earlier tonight I extended that to Witty Bitty Pwetty Baby (one of my dogs gave me the idea). Anyway, when I start that, everyone in the family begins to roll their eyes and start retching. So I may only be allowed to call him Baby B or Mr. B when he arrives, no matter what name they arrive at.
That's an amazing talent, Slip! I'll have to tell Dave about that and see if he's a one-drop wonder, too, when he wants to be. My guess would be no. He's not patient enough, for one thing.
Well, guys, I'm going to try sleeping again. I'm having a terrible time with insomnia tonight. Might help if I got off the computer. I have to be at school and ready to think in five hours. Talk to y'all tomorrow!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
