So I've been reading for a couple weeks and decided it was time to start my first grow... So I went out and bought a 20 sack of some local mids. When I get through my germination problem I'll be ready to go.

I decided to go w/ a desk lamp and a 42w CFL from Walmart(i know , i know 2700) but I'm planning on adding another(possibly 2) within the next week. I'll post a quick pic of my somewhat ghetto situation at the moment. For ventilation I went w/ a $3 6" fan from Walmart and just laid some tinfoil under the pot, the cabinet is already white and it's in my spare bathroom so outside light isn't a problem...

As for my germination issue, check out my post in the Basic Growing forums or just post back here if you have any advice, I'm trying all 3 methods, 3 seeds in a paper towel, 1 in a shot glass, and 1 in the soil with plastic covering.. It's been 3 days and nothing yet, it's possible I got some bad seeds but all 5? Any help is appreciated
