Depends on what amp it is...if it's just a regular solid state amp it will have a chunky bassy sound. Wont have any sparkle or spunk to it. However, one of the most famous guitar amps ever was originally a bass amp..and of course I refer to the legendary Fender Bassman. But thats a good amp because it has vaccuum tube circuitry.
