I was at a house party, sober, during the day, outside, and these two glowing lights that looked like flares passed overhead. They looked very close. Maybe about 20 or 30 feet over our heads. I would say they each looked about 3 to six inches across. They floated along silently over our heads. One broke apart into smaller pieces.
