    Honey

I recently tried something I had (in 27 years of toking) never even heard of.
I read that natural honey could be used as a replacement for cloning gel or powder, I laughed when reading it but decided to give it a try under the premise of nothing ventured nothing gained.
I was amazed by the results and of the 6 clones I planted I now have 6 healthy plants, has anyone else ever heard of this ?

    Nature is a wonderful thing.

    Wow... that's neat.

I had read about using water that had had willow twigs steeped in it as a cloning solution, but never honey.

I like dip-n-grow best of all but that's a REALLY interesting bit of info!

How long did it take them to root?

You should have done another 6 clones without, to see the difference...

    Interesting though...

I dipped the cut in honey and put them straight into a pot with John Innes No 3 compost so I don't really know how long the roots took to come through. They hardly wilted at all and seemed to take really quickly, I have to say I have never experienced the same success with gel and powder and I have been growing my own for almost 20 years.

My girlfriend uses honey in green tea , just regular natural honey bought from Sainsburys supermarket. I just used that.
