I finally killed a couple today without dying. I hacked a turret and a camera in a room I been in and loaded my shotgun with shock shells I went out in the villa I was in and "got his attention" and he wasted no time in following me. I ran and jumped off the ledge in the room and hid in the corner for a moment. He came in and the camera sounded the alarm sending drones after him the turret pelted his ass for awhile and I kept jumping out and pumping him full of shock shells. Came really close a couple times to eating it, but I dropped him, then later on I used a similar strategy to drop another one.

I tried to go after one straight up with my grenade launcher and chemical launcher and using the cover of some trees in the room and it almost worked had him down to about two more hits before he got my ass, I think it was a proximity mine that did me in as I didn't see him actually fire a bullet when I died.

I'm playing the game on HARD mode right from the get go, not sure how far into the game I am but I do know that every encounter I've had with a hostile Big Daddy of any type I've got my ass handed to me countless times. I figure other may be venturing through as I am and thought that if any of us have come up with good strategies to try out on them, we could compare notes. Now from other forums apparently these guys aren't nearly as bad on normal mode, but are insanely difficult on Hard mode. Rating: 5
