i came up with this theory about a year ago. naturally, i was high.

cause and effect. a highly intelligent friend of mine and i confidentaly concluded that in the long term, nobody cares about the WHY in cause and effect. however in the short term one might. let me illustrate, beautifully, with an example. haha.

a guy is crossing the road and he is hit by a truck and gracefully dies there.

Tomorrow , (let's say he's married) his wife will worry about why she is widowed by her husbands death. Cause: Husbands death. Effect: She is widowed. Why? The truck ran him over.

however, ten years down the line the wife will most probably be safe to say that she was widowed (probably not anymore because she COULD be remarried - point to be noticed) because her husband died. the WHY factor, as we see and realise, diminishes with the increase of time.

cause: husband died. effect: wife widowed. why: truck ran over.

10 years later.

cause: husband died. effect: wife PROBABLY still widowed. why: who cares?!

okay, i'm dead bored. let's chat. hahaha
