Yea, Me too. The powder I was thinking of I don't think was urine. I thought it was some kind of additive that with time did something with dirty urine but I'm not sure.

Someone will come along sooner or later. Sorry I thought it would be answered by now.

thanks.... the prob with quick fix is that usually they'll just send me a memo to go downstairs now. How long does it usually take to warm up? and also, i never thought about the chlorine. i mean, the site says to just use tap water so i dont know.

As earlier stated, the Quick Fix comes premixed. DONT ADD WATER! You must have your synthetic brands mixed, because you certainly did not read this about the QF on urineluck.com.

You can utilize some time to heat the QF by arriving at the facility, complete the paperwork routine, go into the bathroom with the cup, activate the heatpack and recrotch the QF bottle. Then walk out of the bathroom and inform the collector that you cant pee. The collector will then instruct you to sit down and consume cups of water "until you get ready to provide a sample" . By law, the collectors must have you do this. They must allow you up to 3 hrs to be able to provide an adequete sample, before declaring "refusal to test". Take full advantage of this time frame because the heatpack by itself takes approximitely 1 hour to heat the bottle to 100 degrees. Play along with their gag and make periodic trips to the bathroom to attempt to provide a sample (tsk tsk, check the QF temp strip).

If you have a lunch room where you work just stick the quickfix in for 10 seconds and your ready to go.

But you would still have the chlorinated water issue and the how to heat issue.

Its going to be harder to regulate temp I think with adding warm water even if the chlorine isn't an issue which I believe it will.
