i have plenty of lv 75 friends, more than one of which is mnk... what you expereienced is normal... think about it... at any given time you've got a ratio of liek 10:1 on DD (which includes mnk) to tanks AND healers combined....

so.... you have a name with one of the latter half of the alphabet (since names are listed alphabeticly) you'll really only get asked when every other DD currently seeking has been asked/joined a pt.

like i said... don't wanna wait forever, go healer/tank... otherwise, expect a long wait and alot of seeking... find you an nm to camp or an item to farm while LFP

I had a large amount of Lv75 friends as well and thats what got me most of my parties, hell if it wasnt for the PL's i probably would've stopped getting parties at like 50. I understand what your saying though and im not saying your wrong but if there were still a massive amount of people playing like when i first started, i'd still be playing to this day. I think its by far the best MMO but its going down now that alot of people are going over to WOW. It used to have alot of noobs start playing so when the Vets end up leaving the game,there would be a couple of noobs to make up for the lost of a vet meaning more parties but now vets leave and noobs leave as well because its to hard for them to party and you have people in parties calling everyone noobs instead of helping them out making them frustrated and they'll eventually quit as well. It always annoyed me to see a mediocre player call someone a noob when there barely doing there job. I love this game but i'll wait for the sequel before hopping back into the world of Vanadiel!

My game came in today. I installed it and registered, now the updating begins... Hopefully I'll be able to play by late tonight or tomorrow. I guess I'll be starting on the Garuda server.. I'd really love to play with you all but they have helped me a lot and been very friendly to me. Anyone else play FFXI or interested in it?

I heard you can raise chocobos. What's that like in the game?

takes a long time lol.... like a month before you can actually ride the chocobo you raised.... and how you treat it and what you do with it effects it's stats (speed, endurance, luck on fidning items while digging, etc) you can also race them...

I'm going to agree with you good sir, Pokemon Red version on Gameboy kept me busy for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours of my childhood. 30 minutes left on my update! I'm excited now

Awesome dude, let me know what server you pick. I'm not quite sure what to think about Garuda yet, haven't really met anyone. It could be that most people don't speak english this early in the morning on eastern time, or are just busy. Who knows. I bet all servers will be like that. I'm a lvl 8 monk right now.
