I wasn't saying you were a noob... I just know a bunch of people in real life that are. That seems to be the number one fuck-up. People get impatient... Run outa weed... Pick buds and throw them in the microwave.. nuke them and expect to get high. It may do something but it wouldn't be near as good as if you had waited... Heres an example. These are both the same bud off my super haze plant. The first one is about 2 weeks away... and the second one is when it was actually ready. Notice how the individual flowers swell like they are gonna pop and the hairs look like they are almost all dead.

This girl is not close to harvest! Looks ok though. Get yourself a pocket microscope, check out the trics. I think that is important. This plant under the scope is mostly clear.

why sure you are a noob, because if you weren't you wouldn't be dreaming of cutting them down when they are just little flowering babies that have, at the very least, another full month to grow, if not more. and the "different" weather, what is that all about? that sounds idiotic to me. And it is getting a "lil" cold, of course it is, that only makes the mj grow better!

Hey dude My lady has a few plants that look vsimular to yours. Green Dragon and Sour Diesel. I know she has at least 4-5 weeks to go. Those buds should be at least 1 1/2 - 2 inches in diameter. Have you looked at the trichs with a very powerful magnifier? That should be a great indicator. Clear trichs? Not ready. Starting to turn amber? Some people go by the pistols, others the trichs. The hard thing for me is when to flush fr 10-14 days before harvest. Very important ! Have patience

Plants will survive at temps to about 45-50 degrees. Especially Indica strains. You know Indicas originate in the Himilayas, yes? Does it not get cold there? Why are LLamas always dressed in warm coats?
