and while alot are the involvement of human evolution and action.... what about those who aren't? (this especially pertains to those who believe in a greater creator) are we really meant to meddle and save them?

for discussion sake, lets talk about those involved who've been wiped out primarly due to other reasons... not over hunting, taking thier natural habitat for humanization, over hunting their primary food source, poisoning their enviroment, etc....

thousands if not millions of species have disappeared from the face of the planet before we were ever here... and the world still moves... do YOU really believe it's our place to save those species?

i'm not so sure where i stand... i see and appreciate both sides... of course, there's the salvation that lies in most hearts of humans... but at the same time... extinction has and probably always will be, a cycle on this planet..

we see ourselves as higher beings, but alot of times fail to realize, this has been going on for far longer then we've been here.. extinction is a just a step in the ongoing evolution of what we call earth.
