Being grown up in response to the "what was it like growing up" thread of course... are you happy with your life now, or would you rather be back then? how is your life now compared to back then? then it was carefree, but unbelievably life is simpler now for me... while i do miss my childhood i think i'd rather be here now, rather than then.. I love I'm older, but I hate it. I want to be younger again! Being 24 sucks.

I used to hate being older and having responsibilities, but the last year or so, I have been loving life. I finally have a job that I look forward going to. I make okay money, but the people I work with are awesome and my boss is a funny guy. We have a lot of fun there and sometimes it doesn't feel like work at all.

So yes, I enjoy being older. When I was younger, I didn't have my own place, my own things...nothing was really mine. It was all my parents they they bought with their money. I had to be home at certain times. When I woke up at noon with a massive hangover, I would get lectured and asked, "where did you go? with who? etc..." It was a pain in the ass.

Now though, I can have cookies for dinner at 9 pm at night, sit naked and watch TV, curse and drink beer with my friends. Hell yeah! Being older kicks ass. :thumbsup:

i love where i am right now....
18 just started college, livin in the dorms, meetin all kinds of new people still dont have a whole lot of responsibilities, actually look forward to go to school in the days instead of highschool where it was just some bullshit.... at least for me..
