Alice in Chains fans
Just caught an AiC acoustic set in Asheville, NC a few days ago.
William did an amazing job and I'm definitely glad I got a chance to see them. I've been a hardcore fan for probably close to 10 years but was too young to catch them touring in the early 90s.
I agree with putting aside the "it ain't layne!" mentality. Layne made it clear to everyone close to him he was done with the rockstar life in 1996. He said he wanted to be at home in Seattle and play music for friends and make art. I really don't think he would have minded if Jerry, Sean and Mike continued. I also agree it's definitely not the same with out Layne, but it's not bad. He's amazing and the fucked up audio quality off the youtube clips and bootlegs certainly don't bring any justice to how good his voice is.valetudo39 Reviewed by valetudo39 on .
