ok, so i went out this morning to check on my ladies (hopefully), everything seemed fine and they're growing well, except for a couple things, the first of which may be totally trivial but im going to post it none the less.
I found that where my leaves had become stunted and curled downwards or to the side they are now expending moisture, and i know it isnt condensation or rain water because it only happens on a few select leaves and does not evaporate for hours in the midday sun. Also its got a funky smell to it, never smelled anything similar. Maybe theyre dumping excess nutes? i dont know.
Secondly, and this is what im worried about, my ph shot up almost overnight leaving me with an average of around 7.9. I already dropped the ph with vinegar before hand and it seems like it had no long term effect, any suggestions? I was contemplating burying lemons in the soil.
Keep in mind my plants are in the ground with a perlite/rich dark peat/natural soil combo.
