i was just assuming they heated it up. i wasnt around when the egyptians where so i dont know, but that would be logical. id didnt realise the debate was closed on just taking a hunk of dope and rubbing it on your arm. cus if your doing that then ........ well theres not alot to say

I still don't believe you can absorbe THC through the skin. I've never heard of this happening, but I don't know if that means much. I've had discussions with fellow stoners about this and it is the concensus. Like I said, weed or resin must be heated to release the THC and CNB. Now if you are handling it so fast that the friction is heating it to 325, then I suppose all hell could break loose.

Actually, I once saw a special on T.V. of a hemp clothing store in Amsterdam and the guy working there did say that the clothing may contain enough THC content to fail a drug test. He did specify though that it wouldn't count for a urine test, because the THC does not actually enter the blood stream.

YES YOU CAN absorb THC through the skin, however it requires large amounts to get any effect. I experimented with making lotions and have had some very good results. The high is very different from both injestion and smoking, but very pleasurable none the less.

Basically it would take very large amounts of raw very high grade oil, mixed with the right adjuncts to promote skin absorbtion to get any effect and to test positive on a test. Or if you do extractions with butane and are really messy, then that can do it too if enough spills on your skin (although it can cause frostbite so I don't recommend it).

You don't need to heat the oil to 325 degrees to release the cannabinoids through your skin or through injestion, that is the point the oil becomes vapor and is best suited for smoking or vapo. People injest all the time. If heating to 325 degrees were the only way it would work it would burn your mouth, throat, stomach, etc if you ate it at that temprature.
