I'm starting to worry..
Okay, so I've been smoking marijuana for about 4 years now and things have been great. I love getting blazed  But this past week, Ive been a little bit worried about something. On my upperlip, sort of in the middle, I think theres a bump there. BUT Im not sure. It could just be me being paranoid, maybe I just bit it and made it a fat lip. But its been there for a few days now, and it also looks slightly discolored. Not purple or anything, but just darker. If I tilted my head back a bit, you could definetely tell the color difference. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Should I go to the doctor and get it checked out? :what:

Is it sore? Maybe it's a canker-sore.

Sounds like a Herpres type #2 cold sore. The bump and discoloration are similar to my break outs. It's a common virus if this is the Herpes virus that causes cold cores not genital herpes.
You might have acquired it from a friend or someone else tokin' on your piece.
Or, get it checked out by a doctor because I may be outrageously and dangerously wrong.
Best of luck

No requests for pictures or guesses at diagnoses, please. We're a cannabis forum, not dermatological diagnosticians.
Go see someone who knows skin and/or lips and can look at you in person. A dentist, a doctor, a nurse-practitioner, or a dermatologist's PA. And don't listen to anyone who tells you anything otherwise. Especially not here in the middle of the night.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

But I'm telling you Birdgirl, it's an alien in his body. He won't survive the night before it eats through to his brain!:stoned:

hahaha hey thanks guys. I think Im gonna give it two weeks to heal up if its maybe a cold sore or something. I sure as hell hope its not herpes...that'd be sad.
But in any case, thank you all for your input.
