A better search

Heres a tip for the other new guys who are eager to learn.

The search feature on this board has 2 limitations that are making it hard to use. The first one is that it will omit 2 character strings, not that big a deal, but if you want to learn alot about ph, its not gonna help you.

The one that really bugs me is the 60 second limitation between searches. If/when the search doesnt help you, you still have to sit there and kill time untill 60 seconds is up.

The answer is to use the Google Domain search. Open another browser window to: Google Advanced Search and enter boards.cannabis.com into the "Domain" field. It will search this site without any limitations whatsoever, and do it twice as fast.

Every now and then someone mentions how to do this. Unfortunately, by the time I want to search for something I can never find these instructions on how to do it.

This should be a sticky somewhere.

Yeah this is the best way to search any forum or website for that matter, I agree this should be a sticky.

I couldn't get this to work.

However the sticky mentioned above works wonderfully not only with google, but other search engines as well.
