slow growth
To start off, clones that size should be rooting, unmolested by tying down and such, in an 18 oz cup or something similar in size. Then, when the roots start to circle the outside of the medium in the cups, they should be put into a #1 pot. Then you can start to train them.
When the cutting is undergoing the cloning process, during the time that it has no roots to absorb nutrients, it feeds on its fan leaves. Once the plant is in the 18 oz cup, I trim the leaves until there is no yellow at all. Then I watch the leaves and continue to trim and/or remove them - they kinda take on a certain palor when they are no longer useful. getting rid of the dead/dying/useless original leaves promotes more rapid new growth.
At this point, I'd trim or remove those yellow/yellowing leaves and let your plants concentrate on new growth.
PC :smokin:PharmaCan Reviewed by PharmaCan on . slow growth Don't even know where to start, these things are growing so darn slow. Without getting into too much detail I would simply like to hear any comments on the looks of these clones. Been in soil for a month already and .... well you can see they haven't grown much at all. I'm scared to flush because the pots are big and the plant may rot. Besides I don't know what the issues is. One plant has some purpling around the edge of some leaves though it can be hard to see on pic. (pic: Sour D 1) Rating: 5
